Happy Exmas
Here are a couple of cards me and my friend Brian did for the 2000AD forums Advent Calendar (top 2 are mine) . Brian had the idea of printing them up and giving them away in a raffle.
See forum for details.
I also did an extremely sophisticated, expertly animated little flash thing of Bradley-click the image
The other card is a reworking of this sketch I did last year

Therapy
Today was my second course and in case I didn't feel silly enough they've now added a protective visor to my outfit.
As well as treating my skin condition I'm getting a lesson in discovering just how uncomfortable I am in my... nudieness
For purposes of context..

Duelling Banjo Pigs
Check out this great blog:
About The Duel of Banjo Pigs
It started out with a duel between friends. Guy Francis challenged fellow illustrator, Stacy Curtis, to a duel of banjo playing pigs. Now, other illustrators have joined the fun with banjo pigs of their own!
I sent the guys this one of mine-you can view it here

RIP Frank Frazetta
Very sad to hear of the death of the legendary Fank Frazetta. His work was an inspiration to generations, often copied, never equaled.

Comic art visions of wind farms
The multi-talented Vicky Stonebridge put the call out for comic artists to interpret their idea of wind farms. I did a corny joke imagining people ni the future robbing the wind 'created' by these farms...I'd hoped to come up with something better before the deadline but didn't... so wind rustling is up on the BBC news page LINK

Misty Comic in SFX(March)
A nice mention for this comic that I worked on in the March edition of SFX magazine
""Long-term readers might remember we featured issue one of the Mistycomic.co.uk specials in these very pages over three years ago, in our 2006 Christmas issue to be precise. Well they've only gone and made a ruddy 'nother, and about time! For those unaware, Misty was a weekly horror comic aimed primarily at young girls that ran in the late 1970s and early 1980s (also see page 90!). The Mistycomic.co.uk specials aren't official products but lovingly crafted fan homages, this one featuring 13 stories full of top notch, original artwork, spooky poems and an interview with artist John Armstrong, who illustrated several strips for the original Misty. You can feel the nostalgia on your fingertips after flicking through this treat.""
