Tales from the Emerald Isle fanzine

From Hibernia Books, the people who brought you the recent Doomlord and The 13th Floor collections come Tales from The Emerald Isle, a fan tribute to the Irish cast and characters that have appeared in 2000AD.

I have contributed a couple of drawings to it and I'll post them once the book is released..in about 2 weeks

I started this with the intention of going into insane Chris Weston/Cliff Robinson detail...but as usual , ran out of steam

Dirty Frank is an undercover judge in the shittiest part of megaCity1...so undercover he's ..sort of lost his mind

He smells, he's vi0lent and very charming

Ok, it's not- but it sort of looks like it could be from an animation...maybe?

Sick of trying to be the next Ortiz or Gibbons I thought I'd try a minimal approach using Flash

I quite like the results

I think, as long as the mood takes me that I'll do a few supporting characters while I'm at it

A Howler

My entry for the latest art comp on the 2000AD forums.

It's a Howler. These guys made a big impression on me when I read Wagner and Ezquerras Strontium Dog many years ago. They've cropped up a few times throughout the years.

Ooh Matron

A quickie for the regular art comps that happen on 2000adonline.com. Inspired by Carry On movies (should have added a daffodil in there) and featuring Hammerstein from the ABC Warriors.
